We have had a great time looking at the history of planet earth. There have been a few extinction events since the Earth began. We plotted them on a long time line to give the children some idea of the kind of length of time we are thinking about!

Forest school

Aren’t we clever!!!! The children made these with very little help from adults. Feel free to add a candle for a great centre piece to your Christmas table.

Countdown to Christmas!

As the end of term approaches, we have a few reminders!

There will be forest school and swimming on Friday this week 9/12/11.

Next week we should like to do forest school on the Wednesday, please ensure that your child has their forest school kit on this day, 14/12/11.

There will be no forest school or swimming on Friday 16/12/11 as it is the last day of school.

We would like to have a small Christmas party in our classroom on the last day of term. Children can wear their own clothes. Please could children bring in a small snack to share we suggest crisps, popcorn, biscuits, cakes or fruit.
